| 1) Edema in serosa and thickening of mucous membrane with severe hyperemia at the colon. |
2) Hemorrhage at proper stratum of mucous membrane and edema at submucosal tissues of the colon (HE staining). |

| 3) Acute catarrhal enteritis having cell infiltration associated with hyperemia and/or hemorrhage in the ileum. |
4) Acidophilic intranuclear inclusion bodies seen in endothelial cells of blood vessels at submucosal of the ileum (HE staining). |
