2) The spleen with severe swelling having dark- reddish tar-like contents at sectioned surface. |

| 3) Large size bacilli with capsule, non-spored, form bamboo stem like chain, in the smear of peripheral blood (Rabiger staining). |
4) Severe hemorrhage, and atrophy of while pulp in the spleen (HE staining). |
