5) A number of attaching and effacing Escherichia coli(AEEC), seen on the Epithelial cells of mucus membrane fo the ileum (Gram staining).

6) Vero cells inoculated with supernatant of BHI broth culture of AEEC. Degeneration of cells indicates that these AEECs have Vero toxin.

7) Large intestine of young goat deprived from colostrum, and inoculated with AEEC orally. AEECs adhere to epithelial cells of the intestine (Scanning electron miscroscopie).

8) Demonstration of heat resistant entero-toxin(ST) in suckling mice by inoculating toxigenic colibacillus (ETEC) into the stomach of the mice.
