5. Fascioliasis (LiverFluke Disease)
1) Heavily emaciated cattle with Fasciola hepatica infection. 2) Marked thickness (like branches of trees) of common bile duct in the liver.
3) Numerous worm canals, yellowish-white lesion and hemorrhages due to destruction of tissues, seen on the surface of the liver derived from experimental infection. 4) Fasciola hepatica, adult worm, leaf shaped (specimens in formalin).
