4. Hypocalcemia (Milk Fever)
1) Cow stretching her legs and displacing her head to on side of the abdomen, with difficulty of standing. Those are typical clinical signs seen in the diseased cow. 2) Unsteadiness and difficulty of walk.
3) Detection of low-blood calcium by adding EDTA.2K
    Right:normal cattle (blood coagulation)
    Left:diseased cattle (insufficient coagulation).
4) Composition of non-organic substances in serum expressed by mg/100ml. (Table) Decrease of calcium and non-organic phosphate contents, and slight increase of magnesium level.
