3. Chlamydiosis in Cattle (Chlamydial Abortion of Cattle)
1) Generalized marked subcutaneous edema and enlargement of the abdomen resulted from accumulation of abdominal fluid, seen in the aborted fetus. 2) Marked edema at subcutaneous tissues, retain of thoracic fluid and swelling of the liver, seen in the aborted fetus.
3) Multiple focal necroses in the liver of the aborted fetus (HE staining). 4) Particles of Chlamydia (Gimenez staining).
