| 1) Marked jaundice findings of subcutaneous tissues and fatty tissues of abdominal cavity, and enlargement of the urinary bladder due to retention of hemoglobinuria. | 2) Congestion of the brain by accumulation of red blood cells infected with B. bovis in capillary blood vessels. |

| 3) B. bovis in red blood cells; smaller than B. bigemina or B. ovata (Giemsa staining). | 4) Accumulation of infected red blood cells in capillary blood vessels of the brain. |
